As Millions More Vape, Health Effects Clouded In Uncertainty

We thought we had smoking on the run.

From 2005 to 2018, the percentage of Americans that smoke dropped from 21 percent to 14 percent. Then along came e-cigarettes with a promise that vaping, as its use is known, would be less dangerous and make it easier for smokers to quit. But once again we may be learning the hard way that what sounds too good to be true probably isn’t, especially when corporate profits are involved.
